Halo: Combat Evolved (The Flood)
There are many different types of enemies in Halo but none as powerful as the Flood. Their name is quite appropriate seeing as they move in huge groups towards their targets. They will gather in huge groups and will jump onto their food and control them. The organism which is covered by the Flood would still be conscience but won't be able to do anything except watch what the Flood are doing with their body. There are a few different types of Flood organisms. Such as: Flood parasite: They are small and usually travel on small tentacles. They lunge at the enemy and usually three or four parasites can transform a enemy fairly quick. They are also sensitive to sound and die from hearing a pistol shot if they are too close. In Halo: Combat Evolved the only things which are immune to the Flood parasites are Hunters, Avery Johnson, and the sentinels. Flood Combat Form: They are the hidiously disfigured bodies of the covenant or marines bodies which have been infected by the flood. They can fire weapons and in large numbers are difficult to destroy. Bloated Flood: They incubate growing flood parasites and when near an enemy or when damaged will explode and release its contents. Brain Flood: Cannot kill anything but instead acts as a huge library storing the information of all the memories of the brains put into it such as locations of home planets. That is basically the Flood characters of Halo: Combat Evolved. But there are still more enemies and different vehicles to drive. |
